Don Juan`s Cocina in Socorro

I come eat here every time I'm in town from Colorado. The menuedo is delicious. The service is wonderful and I always leave with a satisfied tummy! The restaurant is old school so don't expect rahrahs! I like genuine welcoming. That's what you get!

Got sick on the old refried beans. Couple months later ordered meat burro Full of long black hair. Full. Off my radar. Just left. Should of made a scene. Seemed racist.

Great food. Very nice people there. If you are in a HLS class at NM tech beter to have at least an hr lunch break to get in and out.

My brother, John, and I have travelled the SW for years (he lived in Benson, AZ) in search of great Mexican food, and there is no better to be found anywhere that comes close to Don Juans. We once drove from Benson to have lunch. Everything is sensational . . . but if you are a Relleno fan. . . . God help you! You will wake up one morning, somewhere miles from Socorro, and end up on a long ride to lunch.

Impulsively decided to check out their breakfast burritos. Soooo good. In fact, we got second burritos to go. We will definitely be back. :)

Food was great....service was excellent

The food was great, and the service was fast and efficient. Very very affordable and a great price. One of the better new Mexican food places in town. They are very generous will sides but portions are a little small. Red chili needs to be strained so you aren't spitting out small pices of skin.

Said chili was spicy, did not taste the spicy at all. But, food is good, it's not great but edible. I could never eat the whole thing if that matters..

Classic new Mexican food; the green chili can be blazing hot. The restaurant interior is basic but serviceable.

I had the red chili enchiladas with beef and an egg on top and it was good needed more red sauce on it

Sopapilla has a fly in it and wasn’t even told sorry about it or anything. Super rude waitresses absolutely disgusted by this place.

Walk up to order, the greens hotter than the red but both are great.

Good food. Great price. Combination plates will get you samples of most things. Find a favorite that way, or do like me just keep ordering combination plates to get a little of everything. Protip-Order at the counter. They bring you food hot and ready to eat. Then, you pay at the counter when you are finished with you meal.

Visiting from out of town and stumbled upon Don Juan Cocina. Enjoyed a tasty dinner. Salsa was flavorful. Chicken taco were yummy. Shredded beef taco were delicious. Good find.

Always great food, service almost always excellent. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because they forgot my to go order and didn't cook ever by to check drinks....
